Write a letter to a friend. Invite him or her • Either: to come to your birthday party • Or: visit a place of interest with you
Remember to write your address correctly.
5 Proofread these sentences. Rewrite them correctly. 1 Have you ever seen a parrot 2 Our class teacher is mrs. davis. 3 next week we will visit the museum.
• Ask students to identify the different parts of the letter. Tell them to read through the questions and work out what type of questions they are: in the text, think and search, on your own. • To assess speaking skills, you could ask students to retell an experience using sequencing words first, next etc.
