Language Tree SB 3

Unit 13

3 We must reduce the amount of waste we produce. A lot of it will not decay for more than 100 years. Soon, there will not be enough space for it. 4 Sometimes people dump waste in the streets. This creates an eyesore. When the waste begins to rot, it smells bad, and flies breed on it. This is dangerous for our health because flies spread disease. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle 5 We can recycle a lot of our waste. Paper can be collected and used to make more paper. We can reuse plastic bags, bottles and glass jars. Fruit and vegetable peelings can be used to make compost for our gardens.
