Writing 1 Look at this picture of a coconut tree. • Is the tree big or small? • Does it have leaves? • Does it have flowers or nuts? 2 Read the fact file:

Coconuts are useful We eat coconut meat. We drink coconut water. We make bowls from the shells.

3 Write the title: ‘Coconut Trees’. •  Use some of the facts you know to write about coconut trees.

Begin a class list of opposites to put on the wall.
