• Extension: What would it be like to live with an ‘always-in-the-way’ cat? • Revise adjectives by asking pupils to find four in either verse 1, 2 or 3. • Revise opposites by asking pupils to work in pairs to see how many pairs of opposites they can find in the poem. ( There are ten pairs. )
