Remind pupils about the rules for discussion: take turns in speaking, listen to the other person, don’t interrupt. • Remind pupils to listen to the person speaking and to respond to what is said. Add their own thoughts or ask questions. • Select individuals to share the information . Encourage them to speak clearly so that everyone can hear and understand what they are saying. • Invite pupils to assess their own strengths and weaknesses in speaking and listening.
