• Speaking and listening: Encourage pupils to find out more about the book their partner has chosen by asking further questions. • Language, extension: Ask pupils to say sentences using the top table then have them change the food (e.g. The girls eat fish. ). Alternatively, ask them to change the person doing the action to another plural (e.g. Birds/Monkeys/My friends eat nuts. ).
