• Extension: Collect objects which can be described using several adjectives e.g. a pencil ( long, thin, yellow, hard ), a ball ( round, red, big, smooth ). Ask pupils to describe the objects. Write the adjectives they use on the board. • Create a ‘word wall of adjectives’ for pupils to refer to. • For more work on adjectives, see Workbook 1 pages 51–52 .
