4 Write a description of the person. 5 Re-read your description.
• Have you used adjectives? • Are the sentences clear? • Look at the tricky words. Check your spellings in a dictionary. 6 Make changes to improve your writing. 7 Then write it out neatly.
• Writing: Tell pupils that an interesting description of a person will say what that person is like and what they do and say – not just what he/she looks like. CR Allow pupils to talk to a partner in Creole or in SE about the person they like before they draw their picture. DA In Activity 4, pupils should write a sentence or a short paragraph according to their ability.
