• Explore fact and opinion with the class before they begin Exercise 1. Write a fact on the board ( The car is blue .) then write an opinion ( Blue is the nicest colour .). We know the first sentence is true but the second sentence is not. Some people think that red or green is nicer than blue. Ask students to tell you two facts about school and two opinions about school.
