1 Find one proper noun, one conjunction, one verb and two pronouns in this sentence. I saw Shawn’s mother this morning. She is sick and Shawn is looking after her.
2 Read these sentences. What parts of speech are underlined? Example: We ate chicken stew. è verb 1 Shawn’s mom was in bed. 2 Shawn told his teacher. 3 With Shawn’s permission, she told the class.
