Plot
Leo has hurt his leg and can’t walk. Glory is too small to help him. The tide is coming in but she has to leave him to go and get help. I won’t tell you what happens. You will have to read the book. The best part is when Leo is trapped in the cave. It was scary. I wanted to keep reading to find out what happened. I also liked the illustrations because they helped me to imagine the scene. I think everyone who likes reading about real children will like this book. If you don’t like scary books don’t read it.

• Talk about why people write book reports ( to recommend books to others; to share their views ). • Encourage students to write regular reports of stories, poems and non-fiction they read. Collect their reports for display or in a book so that others can read them. Students should be keeping a reading journal in which they write brief reports of what they have read.
