The ASAspire programme for second-year students and beyond entitles you to one-to-one coaching and limitless access to law firms to help you secure a training contract. Mentoring programmes, run in conjunctionwith the likes of Facebook, Channel 4, Farfetch and Sky, provide unique learning opportunities about some of theworld’smost successful companies. The Professional Ambassador platformallows ASmembers to access a network of legal professionalswhowant to help directly via theASwebsite. More than 650 ambassadors representingmore than 100 law firms are putting their hand back down the ladder to provide insights about their firmand advice to thosewho want it. The annual Commercial Awareness Competition is not only an effectivemeans of improving commercial acumen, but it also prepares candidates for law firmassessments. TheGrand Final takes place at Barclays’ HQ inCanaryWharf andwinners are awarded six weeks’ work experience at sponsoring firms, including new firms Allen &Overy andSkadden, andBarclays Legal.
