The Biz LIVE is a trading style of EVO Networking which has been running business networking events for nearly 5 years in the South West of England, and more recently, Wales. Since March 2020, the meetings have expanded and moved online (pictured right). The show has been announced recently off the back of EVO Founder Jamie Breese’s successful application to become a LinkedIn Live broadcaster. We’ve recently engaged LinkedIn expert Greg Cooper as a paid consultant and as far as we can ascertain, this is a very rare accreditation and will only be awarded to those who can demonstrate broadcast experience and LinkedIn following. In other words - very few people will be streaming and when they do, it’s going to standout. This is not like Periscope, Facebook Live or Instagram Live. It’s reserved for the select few! This is a brand new feature on LinkedIn in the UK and as such, how the first few episodes will be seen and consumed is a truly unknown quantity. We do know that when we go live, there is an on-screen notifications to some (or perhaps all?) of Jamie’s contacts in LinkedIn. There is also a notification in the LinkedIn top menu. Once the live broadcast is complete, it is then featured as ‘Previously recorded live’ in the newsfeed and connections notifications.
