Chuan Spa Menu of Services

Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatments Chinese master practitioners use cultural beliefs to interpret the states of well-being. Any disharmony of the equilibrium of Yin and Yang or disturbance in their flow of Qi can cause imbalance. The task of a Chinese Master of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine is to restore such imbalance. Some treatments include Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Ho Guan (Cupping). The aim is to supplement the deficiency of either Yin or Yang or to reduce the excess. The holistic approach of Chinese medicine is to treat the body as a whole and address any imbalance. Consultation and Treatments Chuan Spa’s Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) initial treatment session includes a consultation by our qualified Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine practitioner to interpret your state of well-being and relative treatment(s) will be prescribed.

Acupuncture + Massage Therapy

1 hr 30 mins $435 Acupuncture is a system of healing which has been practiced in China for thousands of years. Its focus is on improving the overall well-being of the patient, rather than treating specific symptoms. According to traditional Chinese philosophy, our health depends on the body’s motivating energy – known as Qi – moving in a smooth and balanced way through a series of meridians (channels) beneath the skin. By inserting fine needles into the channels of energy, it can stimulate the body’s own healing response and help restore its natural balance. This luxurious dual therapy of combined Acupuncture and a Customized Massage is an excellent option for those looking to rebalance, restore, and relax. Acupuncture treatment benefits are cumulative, therefore multiple visits are recommended.
