Are you learning your verses each week ? You know our motto is, “Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Psa. 119:11). “ SIN will keep you from God’s Book. Who Said It, and Where? The following quotations are found in the Gospel according to John. Give the chapter and verse for each: 1. “Behold the Lamb of God.” 2. “ Let not your heart be troubled.” 3. “I am the voice o f one crying in the wilderness.” 4. “Whatsoever he , saith unto you, do it.” 5. “I am the good shepherd.” 6. “ One thing I know, whereas I was blind, now I see.” 7. “These things I command you, that ye love one another.” 8. “I f ye ask anything in my name, I will do it.” 9. “Go thy way, thy son liveth.” 10. “ He that believeth on the Son hath life.” Sunday-school teachers might quote many more for the Juniors to locate. How to Join the K .Y .B . Club T O become a member of the Know Your Bible Club, read through the Gospel according to John. You may read this from your own Bible or from a Gospel of John which will be sent upon request. When the Gospel has been satisfactorily read, and a statement sent to this effect, signed by parent or Sunday- school teacher, a K. Y. B. C. pin will be sent. When Sunday-school classes or clubs order a quantity of Gospels or pins exceeding the number of ten, we have thought they might like to contribute something to ward the supply of the same, as the Lord directs. The cost of the Gospels, including the cost of postage and mailing, is about five cents; of the pins, without post age, two cents. However, no one is to do without a Gospel or pin because of lack of money. Ad dress; Junior Dept, o f THE KING’S BUSINESS, 558 So. Hope Street, Los Angeles, California.

come down into any humble heart that in vites Him, even into a little child-heart, unloved by any one else. And there He will live in His loving way filling it with joy and peace and beauty.” As the lady ceased speaking and rose to leave, she looked over the heads of the women gathered around her, straight into the wistful, eager brown eyes peeping out behind the big pillar, and smiled, such a warm, loving smile that Moti’s cold little heart throbbed warm and happy while she sped away as swift and silent as a shadow to the mimosa trees by the well. Once hidden by their yellow bloom, she set down her waterpot and silently, with a little motion of invitation, she held out her hands toward the blue sky. Somewhere, hidden among the fragrant yellow blossoms, a bird began its joyous song. But far sweeter was the song rising in Moti’s heart, for she knew the Won derful One had accepted her invitation and had come to make pure and glad the heart o f a child widow of India. A Letter Dear Boys and Girls o f the King’s Business Family, So many good letters have come from you boys and girls, and your Sunday- school teachers. I wish I could answer each one separately. My heart has rejoiced as I have read of your interest in the Know Your Bible Club. The members o f one club, after com pleting the reading of the Gospel of John, have loaned their books to others to read. Wasn’t this a splendid thing to do? An other club writes that they are having such a good time keeping their K. Y. B. C. notebooks. Have you one? Some are reading the Gospels out loud at home so that other members of the fam ily may hear God’s Word. One little girl has read hers out loud three times. I trust by now she can repeat much of it from memory. One Sunday-school teacher has the Jun iors recite on a portion read each week. In this way all keep together in their read ing.

The Sparrow I am only a tiny sparrow, A bird of low degree; My life is o f little value,

But the dear Lord cares for me. I know there are many sparrows— All over the world they are found—i But our Heavenly Father knoweth When one of us falls to the ground. Though small, we are never forgotten; Though weak, we are never afraid; For we know the dear Lord keepeth The life of the creatures He made. I fly through the thickest forests; I light on many a spray; I have no chart or compass, But I never lose my way. And I fold my wings at twilight Wherever I happen to be, For the Father is always watching And no harm will come to me. I am only a little sparrow, A bird of low degree: But I know the Father loves m e: Have you less faith than we? —A uthor U nknown .
