A gallery trip is not just a fun day out. It’s an indispensable way for us Art students to see how art fits in to wider society outside school; to see how the work that artists create inside the bubble of their studios is brought out into the world to become an experience for people to admire or loathe; to see how art can become a talking point, a source of contention or something that unites people.
