T he annual Dulwich College Summer Concert, held at the prestigious Cadogan Hall in Central London, was certainly a night to remember. With performances by the Symphonic Wind Band, Brass Consort, Chamber Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, Chapel Choir Choristers and Dulwich Chamber Choir, the programme included works from Handel, Chris Hazell and John Barnes Chance. The concert also featured ‘Deep’, a double bass concerto by Gareth Wood that the College had commissioned and which was played fantastically by Charles Carey. The concert was a fine testament to Dulwich’s musical strength.
