A short introduction to MARCELLE MANSOUR’S ARTWORK

Marcelle Mansour is a Palestinian fine artist resident of Australia holding two Masters in the Arts plus other high studies,. She has an extensive artistic biography having show her artworks for many years at different locations in America, Asia and Europe. Her work is comprised of magnificent works which were born in her mind and experiences, using many tools and techniques. She has always been able to project a restless spirit that has never been detained by time or adversity. Ms. Mansour is a clear example of tireless artistic work. Each piece, like a poem, deserves the analysis and thoughtfulness of the observer. Maybe we may say that each of her paintings can tell a different story. She obtained many prizes, distinctions and awards, several of the, at the Museum of the Americas in This book pretends to show the world – thanks to digital media – the work of an artist whose sincerity and devotion to the arts and culture has no limits.

Ambassador of Peace and Ambassador of Art. A multi-award-winning artist and influential thought leader in the art industry whose purpose is to find hope toward advancing humanity and reshaping reality. “She received both a Master of Fine Arts and a Master of Studio Arts from the Sydney College of the Arts, The University of S ydney, and previously a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & English Language from Ain Shams University in Cairo Egypt. She has exhibited nationally and internationally in Biennials and major international art exhibitions in prestigious galleries in major European art cities. An Australian of Palestinian Christian heritage, born and raised in Gaza to Palestinian Christian parents from Jaffa who were displaced from their homeland in 1948. Mansour experienced wars in her childhood and youth. Through her art, she reflects on a specific topic aiming for hope and peace. Her art spans from representational art to abstract, light and digital art in a variety of mediums and styles. Her digital paintings represent a vibrant rich tapestry of visual narratives that incorporate tradition with modernity. They are dominated by beauty and thoughts that explore the world of knowledge and wisdom of human psychology and perception which speaks to viewers worldwide. Throughout her art journey Marcelle Mansour won numerous international juries art competitions, finalists and honorable mentions for artistic excellence. In 2016 she received an Honorary Presidential Award from her native country and the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2017 Queen Elizabeth II’s Birthday Honors. She is a CERTIFIED ARTIST by the Museum of the Americas in Miami, Florida.
