Junior Lifeguard Training (Activity #400001) Monday-Thursday: June 10-13 11:30a.m. - 1p.m. Fee: $69 Ages: 11-14 years Instructor: Wet Zone Staff Don’t sit at home all summer, come to the Wet Zone and learn what it is like to be a lifeguard. Become a Jr. Guard at the Wet Zone. Work with the lifeguards and learn what the lifeguards do as well as valuable lifesaving skills.
AquaMotion with Jill (Activity #400009) Tuesday and Thursday: June 4-27 and July 9-Aug 1 9a.m. - 10a.m. Fee: $49 Ages: 16-59 years Fee: $25 Ages: 60 years and up Instructor: Jill Beam
This program uses natural resistance and buoyancy of water against your body to provide a wide variety of conditioning activity. No swimming is required, and flotation devices will be used frequently. AquaMotion will increase your energy, stamina and strength and it’s a healthy way to cool off in the summer. Come join the fun, fitness and friendship of AquaMotion!

Summer Vacation is coming to an end and school is just around the corner! Wet Zone is here to help you make sure there is one last Friday of fun and games before getting back to the books! Kids can win cool new school supplies to get the year started off right! The park will be open all day. Contests will take place between 1-4pm.
This aqua fitness class has taken the winning formula of Latin and international music beats for dance exercise and integrated them in a water-based workout. Aqua Zumba keeps the Zumba Fitness workout party going in the pool, led by certified instructors. This class is for individuals looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high- energy aquatic exercise to their fitness routine.
Father’s Day at Wet Zone Sunday, June 16 12p.m. - 6p.m.
It’s that time of the year to give back to dad! Bring your dad to Wet Zone for Father’s Day and enjoy the day with him! Dads get in free with one paid child’s ticket! We will have games, contests for prizes, and fun activities for dads and their kids! No coupons or other discounts apply.
Treasure Hunt (Activity #400023) Saturday, May 11 10a.m. - 12p.m. Fee: $5
Angel Swim Saturday, June 8, 22 and July 13 9a.m. - 11a.m.
Not all treasure is buried! Join us for an outdoor aquatic treasure hunt with toys for all ages groups in the pool depth of 1.5 feet deep. Each participant will receive a mesh bag for collecting treasure. A responsible adult in a swimsuit is required to directly supervise all children less than 7 years old within arm’s reach in the water. Pre-registration is required.
This swim time is specifically set aside for those with special needs and their families! As our special guest, all family members will be able to play and swim and enjoy the Wet Zone without all the crowds! Admission is FREE for our Angels and only $5 for their family and care takers. No coupons or other discounts apply.
POOCH PLUNGE Sunday, August 4 12p.m. - 3p.m. It’s time to “let the dogs out” once again! Join Wet Zone and Friends of Rowlett Animals as we once again host Pooch Plunge! Cost is $15 per dog – online registration only. Humans are $5! Each dog will need their current rabies tags or paper copies of vaccinations to participate. All proceeds from ticket sales are used to assist animals in Rowlett and surrounding areas.
