Actions you should take when you spot a scam email. How to Report Phishing Emails

1)Know your coworkers’ communication style- Be familiar with how your team typically writes and communicates. Unexpected tone, poor grammar, or odd requests from someone you know could be a red flag. 2) Stay current on workplace updates- Keep up with internal communications so you can better recognize fake or unusual emails that seem "out of place" with recent happenings. 4) Never forward a suspicious email- Avoid sharing potentially dangerous messages with coworkers, even to ask if it's legit — this increases the risk of someone else clicking it. 5) Use the “Phish Alert” button- Click the Phish Alert icon (circled below) to report and block the sender. This notifies the security team and helps prevent future attempts.
