AICC Turns Member Survey Feedback Into Action
In January 2026, AICC conducted a member survey to gain insight into the challenges currently facing indepen- dent box makers in North America. The feedback has been reviewed, and the Board iden- tified that the biggest challenges continue to be economic uncertainty, pricing and margin pressures, rising operating costs, workforce development, succession planning, and the adoption of AI and digital technologies. The respons- es also reflected the value of training and education com- bined with networking and peer-to-peer learning. Since receiving the survey results, the Convention Content Committee and Board of Directors have aligned our programming to reflect these priorities. • Education & Courses: 64 updated courses to improve usability and professionalism. Recently updated to in- clude Corrugated Fundamentals and Corrugated Safe- ty Basics (English & Spanish). Improved our LMS plat- form usability • Webinars: 20 new webinars covering Continuous Im- provement, AI, and member benefits. • In-Person Events: Six upcoming in-person events, including two National Meetings, an Emerging Lead- er Networking event, Regional Summits, and the Ski Meeting.
• Peer Learning & Connection: Expanded opportuni- ties through the Next Generation Group, Management Group, Emerging Leaders Program, CEO Groups, new Advisory Groups, Kids in Corrugated, Women in Pack- aging, and a new AI-specific committee. • Meeting Content: National and Regional Meetings fo- cused on AI, succession planning, and leadership de- velopment, with plant tours and networking opportu- nities. Member feedback continues to guide program plan- ning as AICC develops new initiatives for 2026–2027. We look forward to continuing to learn, connect, and grow to- gether. Visit: aiccbox.org .
