Using a combination of a state-of-the-art programmable logic control module (PLC), durable, high-quality motor and modern gearbox technologies, the SmartJack features just about everything you want in a specialty door operator. Fully-adjustable to meet just about any set of operational requirements, SmartJack VFD electric operators control the door with soft-start, soft-stop motion, which is easy on the door. This adjustment allows for complete customization of the acceleration and deceleration speeds, starting and stopping points, as well as numerous other functions. The SmartJack monitors the door position and speed allowing the system to know exactly where the door is in relation to where it was originally programmed. This monitoring is not only used in SmartJack’s ability to be fine-tuned for travel and speed, it is also used for a built-in safety mechanism that helps in detecting obstructions, door damage or poor door operation.
