Sunday August 8, 2021 Incidents Damaged Property – Occurred at 1416 Glenn Blvd SW, a door on a 2019 Nissan Frontier was damaged, valued at $1500.00 Damaged Property – Occurred at 1800 Gault Ave N, a chain link fence and post were damaged, valued at $150.00 Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 2101 BriarwoodAve SW, side paneling was damaged, valued at $100.00 One Arrest • Amarjeet Singh Bhathal, age 50 of Bensalem, PA, was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear 1 Accident with 0 Injuries Monday August 9, 2021 No Incidents and One Arrest • Nathan Van Brock, age 42 of Mentone, was arrested for Public Intoxication 5 Accidents with 1 Injury An accident occurred at I-59 and Glenn Blvd SW, Elizabeth Ann Packard, age 30 of Huntsville, driving a 2011 Hyundai, left the roadway, struck a guardrail and traveled into a ditch. Packard was transported to DeKalb Regional by DeKalb Ambulance Service. Tuesday August 10, 2021 Incidents Theft of Property – Occurred at 2001 Glenn Blvd SW, a Doral tire and lug nuts were taken, valued at $300.00 One Arrest • Christopher Joseph Goodman, age 35 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct 1 Accident with 2 Injuries An accident occurred on I -59, a 17-year-old juvenile female, driving a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, struck Elwyn F Smith, age 50 of Tuscaloosa, driving a 2008 Peterbilt. The Tahoe crossed both lanes of travel before hitting a cable barrier and overturning in the median. Passengers in the Tahoe, Rosa Gamaz Velasquez, age 36, and Jenny Cano Mateo, age 42 of Collinsville, were transported to DeKalb Regional by DeKalb Ambulance Service.
