Incidents Damaged Vehicle – Occurred at 1104 Glenn Blvd SW, a bumper on a 2010 Ford F150 was damaged, valued at $2,000.00 Theft of Property – Occurred at 2400 Beck Industrial Blvd NW, miscellaneous clothing was taken, valued at $900.00 One Arrest • Jennifer Leann Wilson, age 29 of Rainsville, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency 5 Accidents with 0 Injuries Tuesday August 17, 2021 Incidents Damaged Property – Occurred at 201 45th Street NE, a Polaris 800 side by side was damaged, valued at $5,000.00 Damaged Property – Occurred at 601 Gault Ave N, a business sign was damaged, valued at $5000.00 Theft of Property – Occurred at 2605 Greenhill Blvd NW, $569.62 in currency was taken One Arrest • George Dexter Hulvey, age 62 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana at 4:09 pm 2 Accidents with 0 Injuries Wednesday August 18, 2021 No Incidents, No Arrests, and 1 Accident with 1 Injury An accident occurred at Sanders Ave NE and 12th Street NE, a 17 year old juvenile male of Fort Payne, driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, stuck a 17 year old juvenile male of Fort Payne, driving a 1995 Ford Ranger. The juvenile driver of the Ranger was transported to DeKalb Regional by DeKalb Ambulance Service. During the first two weeks of August, DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said that 14 individuals were arrested on drug related charges. Welden stated in a recent press release that law enforcement officials around DeKalb County all strive to protect their communities and that he is thankful for a "great working relationship with all of the Law Enforcement Agencies in DeKalb County." "I am proud of the hard work and long hours you all put into your job, it doesn’t go unnoticed," said Welden. OnTuesday,August 3, 2021DeKalb CountyNarcotics Agents executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 98 in Dawson. During a search, methamphetamine, synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found. As a result, Daniel Dewayne Brannon, age 44 of Dawson), was charged with Trafficking in Any Illegal Drug, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Leila Evelyn Mosher, age 31 of Dawson, was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also on August 3, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on County Road 120 in the High Point Community. It was reported that authorities found Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Royce EugeneMurphy, age 65 ofValleyHead, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On Thursday, August 5, DeKalb County Narcotics Agents conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of Dunham’s in Fort Payne. During a search of the vehicle, synthetic marijuana (spice), marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found. Richard Boyd Murphy, age 61 of Rainsville, was charged with Trafficking in Any Illegal Drug, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also on August 5, during at a traffic stop on Highway 35 in Rainsville, authorities found 62 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Charles Hix Williams, age 41 of Rainsville, was charged with Trafficking in Any Illegal Drug and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A separate stop on Hwy 35 in Rainsville also resulted in an arrest after authorities discovered the driver had several outstanding warrants. David Eligha Wharton. 35 of Rainsville, was charged with Trafficking in Any Illegal Drug, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On the same day, DeKalb County Narcotics Agents conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 35, near Brown Street in

Collinsville. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found within the vehicle. Christopher Joseph Martin, age 47 of Rainsville, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Again on August 5, DeKalb County Deputies, along with the Ider Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the Deer Head Cove area. During a search of the vehicle, methamphetamine, morphine pills and drug paraphernalia were found. Bret Hayden Waters, age 26 of Trenton, GA, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Andrew Frederick Harvey, age 42 of Flat Rock, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted another traffic stop in the Deer Head Cove area, where they found Methamphetamine, marijuana, controlled pills and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Brian Blake Canfield, age 36 of Trenton, GA, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd. Samantha Michelle Waters, 32 of Trenton, GA, was also chargedwithUnlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On Thursday, August 12, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Lowe’s parking lot in Fort Payne. The driver of the vehicle was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Matthew Ryan Twilley, age 30 of Fort Payne, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest and Pistol, Concealed W/O Permit. On Friday, August 13, DeKalb County Narcotics Agents executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 90 in the Blake Community. While there, Agents seized five marijuana plants, materials used for growing indoor marijuana plants, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Ronald Kevin Coots, age 55 of Rainsville, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (x2), Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Candice Victoria Maynor, age 29 of Rainsville, was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (x2) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
