Queen Mary offers students a stimulating, supportive and high-quality learning experience, with teaching inspired by our world-leading research.

QMUL have invested in a number of new facilities over the last 5 years to offer its students an exceptional learning environment. Recent developments include the £39m Graduate Centre providing 7,700 square metres of learning and teaching space, a new home for the Institute of Dentistry, the UK’s first new dental school in forty years and new facilities for a number of schools within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Future developments include a new school of Business and Management, new large scale teaching, learning and welfare facilities, 1000 bed new residential developments, new building acquisitions and fit outs.

Estates & Facilities

The Estates and Facilities Directorate is core to the University’s strategic ambition to provide a world-class managed estate with excellent facilities for students and staff.

As part of the QMUL’s ambitious 2030 Strategy, extensive focus will be placed on enhancing, growing and better utilising the QMUL estate portfolio to create a physical environment that supports our position as an inclusive, world-class university.
