The first way to decrease boredom in your dog is by using a slow feeder. A slow feeder functions by slowing down your dog during mealtime which slows the ingestion of food and the dog swallows less air. It also encourages your dog to problem - solve while eating which mimics your dog ' s natural behaviours. In addition to slow feeders you could also use a Snuffle Mat . They are super fun and relatively easy, snuffle mats are made from materials like fleece or felt and secured to a sturdy base with lots of folds.
