ECOC 2021 TRAVEL GUIDANCE Internal European travel is permitted without any restrictions to France. Along with certain other countries as specified by the Ministère de L’Europe et des Affaires Étrangères (www. diplomatie.gouv.fr). Travellers over 11 years of age from some other countries are also permitted to enter France if they complete the vaccination process before flying or can present a negative PCR test taken less than 72 hours before the flight, or a negative antigenic test taken less than 48 hours before the flight. In response to the increasing interest in the field of optical communications both in research and industry, the event has grown since then, both in size and importance and has successfully withstood the internet-bubble and the crisis in the telecommunication industry. ECOC 2021 will continue on this élan with more exhibitors and papers from all over the world. The programme will consist of a set of high-level plenary speakers, tutorials, invited papers, workshops, symposia, and most importantly, parallel sessions with your contributions, technical papers, demonstrations and posters.
The exhibition hall may look a little different this year as we adhere to the latest Government guidance with regards to Covid-19.
