PRINT WITH SUBLIMATION OR INKJET PRINTERS AND INK

What you need:

Jet Trans Paper

Light colour/White COTTON shirt

Printer Sublimation /Inkjet NOT FOR LASERS

Heat Press

NOT FOR LASER PRINTERS OR COPIERS

How to print:

- This transfer paper can be recognized by the blue Jet Pro SS logo printed on the back. - Print on the white side of the paper (the side with no logo or stripes) - Print your artwork in mirror image (artwork needs to be in reverse) - Set your printer to plain paper and print on speed priority. Do NOT set your printer settings to Best Quality, because best quality puts too much ink on the paper, which can result in the image smudging when washing the Shirt. - Ideally, use original inks in your printer. Low-quality, dirt-cheap inks, will cause the print to wash out prematurely.

How to transfer:

- After printing, cut away most blank, unprinted areas of the transfer paper around your image.

- Place cotton fabric/shirt onto the press and pre-press for 4 to 5 seconds to remove moisture from the shirt.

- Place the printed transfer onto the cotton fabric/T-shirt, with the print facing the fabric.

- Press at 375F/190°C for 20 sec, with heavy pressure.

- The transfer can be peeled either cold or hot .

- If you choose to peel the transfer while it's hot, you'll need to complete the process by pressing it for 3 seconds with a sheet of silicone paper after removing the JetTrans S sheet from the shirt. You can purchase silicone sheets from JG.

- If you peel the print while it's still hot, you should do so quickly, while holding the print as flat as possible against the fabric, and sliding it off in one motion from the shirt. - If the print gets stuck when peeling hot, repress it for a few seconds to heat it again. `

How to wash:

- Machine wash with cold water only. - Turn the garment inside out. - Color-safe detergent ( No Bleach ) - Remove quickly from the wash, and put into the tumble dryer on low heat. - Colours can bleed if the shirt stays wet for too long. - If you get bleeding, wash the shirt again immediately - Dry on low setting.

Storing instructions: After opening, store unused sheets in a resealable poly bag in a flat, cool, and dry area.

Vinyl Cutting:

- If you want to cut out your design with a vinyl cutter instead of scissors, then you can do a

Print and Cut from your Silhouette Cameo software to your cameo machine. Use the

registration marks function in the software.

- Make sure you don't cut through the backing of the paper.

- The Following cut settings can be used as a guideline

Blade: 1; Speed:10 and Thickness: 3

- Load the JetTrans S printed sheet without the cutting mat.

- After cutting remove the unwanted areas around your print. Press on the t-shirt/fabric as

per the settings above.

Warning: If you are using a sublimation printer to print your transfers, press the transfers immediately after printing. Allowing the transfers to sit for more than a few hours without transferring them, may result in a colour shift.
