I/We authorise them to hold it in Whites Client Account for the use towards the cost of any pre-tenancy works on the above property (eg Landlord Gas Safety Certificate, pre-tenancy cleaning, EPC etc). Chartered Surveyors, Estate and Lettings Agents are now obliged to comply with the EC Money Laundering Directive. We have to verify the identity of all our clients. We will therefore need copies of two forms of identification when you instruct us to let your property: a passport or new-style driver’s licence and a utility bill. Copies of these documents can be taken if you would like to call into the office.
