Our presence would not be wanted and we would be refused entrance. Here the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king. There are more serious matters involved here. It isn’t a nor mal wedding which has been set. The man is bound hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. This speaks of eternal perdition. The truth comes to us as a parable. This is a picture of what happens to a man who is in vited to partake of God’s bounty, pro vided with the proper garment, but does not use it. God had made the provision, and He has the right to say who are going to be His guests. In His infinite wisdom and love He has provided the way through Christ. That wedding garment speaks of the robe of righteousness so often refused* by unbelievers. When God’s grace and mercy are refused, there is only judg ment left. No one would want to go to a wedding with rags on. The Bible MOVING COSTS EVERYONE

(Continued from page 16 ) Q• Santa Maria, California — “Our min- ister never mentions the word ‘sancti fication,’ yet some churches say so much about it. Can you tell me just how important this is?” A. Sanctification is a process of growth in the Christian faith. It is to be dis tinguished from justification which is an act of God’s grace. Our justification comes through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The term sanctification has been badly abused. There are those who talk about being completely sanctified. They speak about being able to live apart from sin; not having any sin in their own hearts and lives. This is not what we man by the process of sanc tification. All through life till the rap ture we are continually growing in grace; we are continually being sanc tified. Your minister may be a little overly cautious. The word is good one, and it connotes a very definite Scrip tural meaning. We ought to use, it and to understand it aright. Q* Phoenix, Arizona .—- “How do you ex plain Matthew 22:11 where there was a man without a wedding garment at the feast? The king in the parable had the guest thrown out. It seems to be rather harsh and perhaps uncalled for?’ A. When one is invited to certain for mal occasions, it is required that he wear the proper apparel. This passage tells of a king who made a marriage feast for his son. What would happen if one of us tried to get into the pres ence of Queen Elizabeth H of England and we came in apart from protocol. We would deserve to be thrown out.

If you have just moved, or are planning to do so, you know all that is involved. But did you realize that your move can also cost the Lord's work? If you have moved and have not as yet informed us, from now on it will cost Biola 8 cents (rather than 4) in order to have the post office give us the in formation concerning your new address. If you use a post card, or the forms provided by the post- office, this will mean a sub stantial savings for the work of the Lord. With a quarter of the population moving every year, according to statistics, you can well imagine what this will ulti mately mean for Biola. Thank you for your prayer ful help in this, as well as in our other ministries for the Lord Jesus Christ.
