B IOLA COLLEGE FOREIGN STUDENTS

Coming from all parts of the world, these foreign students are preparing themselves for service around the world.

says that all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags apart from the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ! Q. Coquille, Oregon — “Every time I pray my mind seems to wander. Can you make any suggestion that would be helpful to me?’' A. This is a problem most common to all of us. Sometimes we are prone to stay on one subject too long, repeating the same things needlessly. Many find it helpful to have a prayer list. This would give you certain individuals or matters about which you are to pray. Pray about one thing until you have been satisfied in your own mind that the matter has been spread before the throne of grace. Then go immediately to the next item. In this way it will help to keep your mind from wander ing. Then, perhaps your mind wanders because there is no conviction in your prayers. If you’re doing it in a per functory manner, your mind will pray because it is a certain time of the day;

then change the time and method of prayer. It is relatively easy to talk to some one if you are really interested in him. When we talk with the Lord are we really interested in such conversation, or is it all a one sided monologue? Q . Albuquerque, New Mexico — “When Christ said that he was the Son of man, to what did He have reference? So often in Scripture He also speaks of the fact that He is the Son of God.” A. Both are true. He is the embodiment of diety as well as perfect humanity. “Son of man” is a phrase the Lord used concerning Himself. No one else used it in addressing Him. The Lord used the passage taken from Daniel 7:13, 14. Our blessed Lord is a son of Adam just as we are. He came into the human race, the One who from all eternity is the second person of the Trinity. He became very Man of very man, Son of man. Both titles show the earthly ministry of our Blessed Sav iour. 29
