Since moving to Newquay, one of my favourite things to do is find somewhere by the sea for drinks and food with a good view. We often end up around places like Fistral and Lusty Glaze, especially if the weather is good and the sun is setting. Not long after moving here ‘The Boathouse’ popped up on social media, so we decided to try it and it ended up being such a good evening. The atmosphere was really relaxed, with groups of friends and couples all just enjoying the weather and the view. The food was unreal. The birria tacos were probably my favourite and the crayfish tails were really good too. I usually go for a blush rosé with ice for sitting outside watching the sunset. What an evening.
Cornwall is at its best when you’ve got good food, a drink in your hand and a sea view.
