Cornish Sunsets Will Always Have My Heart

Coming from Scotland, I thought I was used to beautiful scenery before moving to Cornwall, but honestly the sunsets here still catch me off guard. Now we are based up on the north coast, so it’s easy travelling between Trebarwith Strand and Bude, but we still end up drifting back towards old favourites like Polzeath, Rock and Daymer Bay. One of my favourite things to do is jump in the car after work and head to the beach with the dogs. Sometimes it is only a quick ten minute drive, other times we will happily drive forty minutes if we think the sunset might be worth it. Although typically, after all that effort, the sun disappears behind a massive cloud right at the important moment which is fairly common!
The build-up is half the fun - I love the whole experience even when the clouds win.
