Sustainability is part of everything we do, from creating safe, supportive environments for people to thrive, to looking after our colleagues and helping them grow their careers. It’s built into every part of Consensus. Sustainable Steps
Leading this work is our Sustainability Action Group. Since 2023, it’s grown into a strong, diverse team with representatives from across Consensus, including people we support, senior leaders, support workers and central teams, all working together towards a more sustainable future. It’s as simple as ESG Environmental
We increased electronic device recycling and reuse, maintaining zero electronic waste to landfill and reducing carbon emissions. Alongside this, we strengthened sustainable travel, expanded recycling, and encouraged more environmentally conscious spaces.
Social
We launched Challenge 4000, supporting 4,000 colleague volunteering hours, while enhancing wellbeing through improved support, benefits and peer networks.
Governance
We advanced digital ways of working, improving efficiency and security, and strengthened data protection, achieving Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
