Bespoke
Bespoke metal inlays available to specification
Located in a historic Edwardian building, this incredible kitchen transformation blended art deco elegance with modern innovation for a truly unique result. Interior designer Jess Palmer of Golden Mean Design turned a traditional three-bedroom layout into a luxurious one-bedroom home with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and a showstopping kitchen redesign. Honouring the heritage of The Slone Building while embracing modern living, the sophisticated kitchen incorporated luxurious materials and tailored engineering solutions. A major challenge was incorporating both an island and dining space within a compact footprint, resolved with a sculptural pill-shaped island in green quartz featuring a cantilevered glass dining extension. The flooring played an essential role in grounding the kitchen design, bringing movement and angularity to the space. Featuring a stunning chevron pattern created from HW16621 Lava (available as a special order product), the flooring was further elevated by embedded brass inlays – custom-templated by the building team – adding an unexpected detail that nods subtly to the project’s art deco inspiration.
