and rustic wood veneer planks were picked for their moody yet rich and decadent character. With a warm colour palette of dark reds, yellows and oranges and generous elements of brass and leather, it gives customers the feeling of stepping back in time, to the years of the Industrial Revolution. The textured planks are tactile and rustic, introducing plenty of character to each dining area. The oversized windows provide plenty of natural light to counterbalance the overall darker hues, while the building entrance is a feast for the eyes, offering a mix of textures, including wooden flooring and bold tiling. Elsewhere, mid-century-inspired velvet chairs and leather booths have been paired with a striking bar featuring hints of brass and an eye-catching slab of natural stone - which contracts beautifully with the dramatic tones of the timber wall cladding.

Pasture Birmingham offers customers a sophisticated and sublime restaurant and bar to relax, eat, drink and socialise. The design brief was to create a space that was elegant, while remaining faithful to Birmingham’s colourful history. The city of Birmingham was once known as the ‘Victorian Powerhouse’ and its influence was felt across the world. Pasture Brimingham hopes to become an ode to the era with references to Gothic Revival and medieval architecture, bold prints, jewel tones, ornate displays and a dark overall ambience. With this decorative scheme in mind, Havwoods’ Burn Veneer from the Vertical range was chosen to run throughout the 718 sqm space across the walls, showing a great example of the brand’s broad collection of timber solutions for all surfaces.
