Quintessentially British, instantly recognisable and beautifully events and expos across the UK and beyond. It was used to deliver CPDs to hundreds of delegates, appeared at an impressive
engineered, the red Routemaster bus has long been celebrated as a symbol of London’s rich heritage. As a meaningful part of our own story, the Havwoods ‘big red bus’ spent years touring the UK as a mobile showroom, introducing our luxury wood surfaces to new audiences and inspiring generations of designers to explore the possibilities of wood. Affectionately considered an honorary member of our Marketing team since 2015, the Havwoods bus became a regular favourite at numerous design festivals,
eight Clerkenwell Design Weeks, showcased an ever-changing selection of Havwoods products, and served over 10,000 cups of coffee – earning a reputation as the place to find the ‘best coffee at CDW’. Now happily retired to our Head Office in Lancashire, the Havwoods ‘big red bus’ remains a cherished part of our heritage and an important chapter in the Havwoods story over the last fifty years.
