A contemporary-meets-traditional masterpiece, the owners of this spacious home embarked on a journey to transform it into a property which harmoniously blends old and new. With striking period features including high ceilings, intricate cornicing and panelling, a soft, monochrome interior has been implemented throughout. From the industrial ground floor extension with Crittal windows and doors to the soft grey walls and sculptural furniture, this home is a complement to modern living. Havwoods flooring was chosen and used throughout the main areas of the property including the open- plan kitchen diner, living room, bedrooms, upstairs landing, cinema room and home gym. The Fendi Prime Herringbone flooring provides plenty of character with interesting graining that varies from plank to plank, along with cooler grey undertones which perfectly accompany the wall colour – especially in the bedroom which puts lavender centre-stage. Downstairs, black and charcoal play a prominent role in the design, from the kitchen cabinetry to the sofa and dining chairs. The lighter colouring of the flooring allows the colour scheme to pop, whilst pairing with the other natural materials including the marble worktops and wooden dining table. Teddington Residential
