The Modern Minimalist Home
Actor Chris Bisson's contemporary family home pairs minimalist architecture with the natural warmth of Relevance50 chevron and plank, creating a calm, flowing interior designed for modern family living. Designed and built by actor Chris Bisson as his long-term family home, this contemporary new build balances clean architectural lines with natural materials to create an interior that feels warm, welcoming and effortless to live in. HW3433-16 Relevance50 chevron forms a striking feature across the ground floor, where its directional pattern guides movement from the double-height entrance hall into the open-plan living spaces beyond. Upstairs, matching HW9595 Relevance50 plank offers a quieter expression of the same timber, creating a calmer atmosphere while seamlessly connecting the upper floor with the spaces below. The smoky grey tones shift gently as natural light moves through the home, adding depth, warmth and subtle variation that enhances the minimalist aesthetic without overwhelming it.
