This opulent Central London home in Wandsworth is magnificently spacious and bright, with large bay windows overlooking the neighbouring park. The homeowners renovated the property with the aim to complement the original features of the home, whilst incorporating modern materials that could keep up with their busy lifestyle. Havwoods flooring was chosen for the master bedroom and main living spaces, using two different products: Fontaine Character 180mm 1-Strip upstairs and Columba Prime 70mm Block downstairs. In the master bedroom, the sage green walls enhance the views while the Fontaine Character boards naturally draw the eye across from the entry to the natural light which floods through the windows. The flooring continues into the upstairs corridor, where the detailed wood border has been added to zone the landing and the staircase. Columba Prime in an on-trend Block pattern is used throughout most of the downstairs. In the open-plan kitchen diner, the flooring naturally separates the space from the black and white checkboard flooring in the hallway. A neutral colour scheme of cream and white is paired with a soft blue island and dark wood furniture. The light-coloured flooring adds a welcome contrast to
the space, while its hardwearing properties are ideal for a high-traffic room. In the cosy living room, the Columba Prime boards provide a timeless solution. Packed with character, the unique furniture and rich colour palette of blue and rust sit beautifully against the flooring which offers natural warmth.
