In the Sahel Region of Burkina Faso, West Africa, Community Building Group improves the quality of life and increases educa- tional opportunity for girls who would otherwise be required to help their mothers fetch water and
cultivate the land. Projects include: rainwater harvesting, providing solar-powered irrigation technology, and promoting access to electric- ity for households and schools.
