Building & Delivering Your Library
The first stage of any project is the consultation. This is a chance for me to get to know a bit more about what you would like this gift to represent, where it will be, and some of your own favourite books from childhood. This will also be an opportunity to set a timeline for delivery and note any books that the child already has. Following this, I will send through a summary and framework for the project and, once this has been agreed, get to work on assembling the collection. I make the choice not to keep books in stock for use in collections to ensure that every book is chosen purely on its own merits and for how it fits into the selection as a whole. Once the books have been assembled, I will do some work to cover Dust Jackets in archival wrappers so that they stand out on the shelves, and pack the collection with a booklist and reading guide. The books will be shipped to your choice of location (I will supply a seperate quote for the cost of shipping during our consultation.)
