“The new, modern head- quarters will enhance our agency’s efficiency and pro- ductivity,” Peace Corps CEO Sheila Crowley said in a separate press release. “The NoMa building is Platinum LEED certified and will in- clude much-needed conferenc- ing facilities, teaming rooms, and media centers to increase opportunities for communica- tion and collaboration across our overseas and domestic offices. The move to a green, thoughtfully configured space will allow our dedicated staff to better serve the public and fulfill the Peace Corps’ mis- sion of promoting world peace and friendship.” In another release issued by the U.S. General Servic- es Administration (GSA) , which manages real estate

Sentinel Square II

Square II is the new home to the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superin- tendent of Education and the Department of Insurance, Se- curities and Banking, as well as the US Federal Election Commission. The building is 95% leased and tenant im- provements were completed in early December. The investment sales team of Bill Collins, Shaun Wein- berg and Chris Riley of Cushman & Wakefield rep- resented the sellers in this is transaction. TCC was retained for con- struction services on an on- going basis. n

WASHINGTON, DC — Trammell Crow Company (TCC) and joint venture part- ners, Cottonwood Partners and a subsidiary of a private real estate fund advised by CrowHoldings Capital Real Estate , have completed the sale of their Sentinel Square II project located at 1050 First St. NE, Washington, DC to a Korean investment group, Sen- tinel Square Hana OW, LLC. Sentinel Square II is part of the selling partnership’s three phase, 1.3 million s/f office complex in the heart of NoMa.
