through each stage of life,” said Bayhealth pPresident and CEO Terry Murphy, FACHE . “The on-campus MOB is a critical part of that success. Anchor was selected as our partner for their stra- tegic approach, experience in building similar medical fa- cilities and their partnership mentality and we’re proud to partner with them on this venture.” The architect of record for the project is Stantec and the construction manager for the project is Target Building Construction . n

a partnership of Anchor Health Properties and Bay- health Medical Center an- nounced the development of an on-campus medical office building (MOB) located in Milford. The project, an 85,000 s/f, three-story MOB, is located on the Bayhealth Sussex Campus adjacent to the new 128-bed Bayhealth Hospital, and Bay- health Outpatient Center. Slated to open in early 2020, tenants of the building include Nemours duPont Pediatrics and Nemours Senior Care leasing approximately 40,000 s/f on the first floor. Within the Nemours space are proposed specialty care services, includ- ing neurology, endocrinology, allergy, orthopedics, physical and speech therapy, radiol- ogy and MRI. Bayhealth and private physician office space, including women’s services, family practice, and various specialists comprise the up- per two floors. Construction is anticipated to commence in Q4 of 2018. Anchor was selected by Bayhealth and Nemours to develop the project from a highly qualified field of health- BCDA adds new microloan program BEDFORD, PA —BCDA has added a new tool to its economic development kit. One of the great challenges facing startups and estab- lished companies alike is se- curing the capital needed for start-up costs of business expansion projects. Working together with JARI , the Cambria County Economic Development Group, the SBA Microloan Program is expanding into Bedford County. Some of the details of the program include: -- Maximum loan amount $50,000 -- Loan can be used for equip- ment, working capital, and non-building related expenses. -- 6-year maximum term -- 5.0 to 7.5% interest, fixed -- No matching funds required -- Technical assistance re- quired.
