“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” I Peter 4:10
Greetings to the First South Florida Missionary Baptist District Association
“Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before; everyday with Jesus, we love Him more and more.” The MWMW ministry has learned and experienced that as long as you have faith, Jesus is right beside you all the time…..”You never have to walk alone!” “When you walk through a storm, Hold your head up high; And don’t be afraid of the dark.” The August FSFMBDA business session brought us together to fellowship and to reiterate our pur- pose and goals of the Association. The Annuals were distributed showing the transparency of each ministry and the unification of First South Florida. God bless and thank you to Sister Mary Priester and Sister Regina Lawrence for their diligence and efficiency of compiling such a docu- ment. “So many mountains You moved; So many valleys we’ve crossed; You have been so faithful”…and to honor this, the MWMW invite FSF to the fellowship service, Saturday, October 11, 10 a.m. at the Shiloh Bible Church, Dunedin. The Word will be proclaimed by the Pastor Clem Bell, “Give of Your Best to The Master.”
Please continue to lift our sisterhood in prayer. Many in the sisterhood are facing challenges physi- cally, mentally and even spiritually.
During the FSFMBDA in November, the MWMW outreach project is called the “AfterSchool Sur- vival Pack”. We are inviting all for any assistance in fulfilling our projected goal for the GIRLS, INC, a non- profit organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be ‘strong, smart, and bold” through life-changing programs and experiences. More details to follow.
Just a gentle reminder, ladies, love donation of $52 still accepted. Thank you.
God bless and keep you Under His Wondrous care!

(HAT) Sister Wilma Garvin National Suicide Prevention Month occurs every September. During this month, mental health advocates, prevention organi- zations, allies, and communities across the U.S. unite to raise awareness about suicide prevention. It is a time to remember those lost to suicide, support those who have struggled with suicidal ideation, and acknowledge the individuals, families, and communities impacted. The goal is to reduce the stigma surrounding suicide and ensure that individuals and their loved ones have access to the resources and support they need.
Key observances during the month include : World Suicide Prevention Day: September 10
National Suicide Prevention Week: The Monday through Sun- day surrounding World Suicide Prevention Day. Warning signs and how to help If you are worried about a friend, family mem- ber, or coworker, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security recommends the following steps: Ask: "Are you thinking of killing yourself?" Many people consid- ering suicide feel a sense of relief when someone asks them about it in a caring way. Care: Show that you care by actively listening without judgment. This can help the person feel less alone. Escort: If the person acknowledges having suicidal thoughts, connect them with helping resources immediately. Do not leave them alone. Crisis resources: If you or someone you know is in crisis, con- fidential support is available 24/7: Dial or text 988 to connect with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Visit the 988 Lifeline chat at 988lifeline.org/chat.

VOTE Thursday, November 13, 2025 8am until 12pm Rev. Willie C. Barnes , candidate for moderator of the First South Florida Missionary Baptist District Associa- tion, is one of those leaders. A Proven Shepherd and Builder With over 37 years of pastoral leadership, he has faithfully shepherded a congregation of more than 2,000 members, managing daily church operations, oversee- ing resources, and providing pastoral care with excellence. Leadership Beyond the Pulpit As Vice Moderator- at-Large of the District Association, Rev. Barnes has already been a steady, trusted voice. His financial acu- men, strategic investments, and long-term planning have strengthened the churches he serves. He has also cre- ated leadership development programs to empower others — equipping church staff, ministry leaders, and mem- bers to thrive and grow in their calling. His Vision for the Association What makes this candidacy so compel- ling is not just what he has done, but what he is committed to do next. His vision is built on three pillars: Build- ing Unity. Strengthen relationships among churches. Encourage joint worship and shared fellowship. Promote a culture where every church and member feels valued and connected. Empowering Through Education Offer
workshops, training, and skill-building opportunities for both leaders and members. Build networks linking churches with schools and community organizations. Expand opportunities for growth that make a measurable impact in our communities. Enhanc- ing Financial Stability Develop strategies to grow resources for long-term sustainabil- ity. Encourage accountability and stewardship rooted in Scripture. Strengthen the As- sociation’s financial foundation so our churches can focus on ministry without worry. Why This Matters The Moderator of our Association must be more than a title — they must be a unifier, a teacher, and a builder. With a track record of service that spans from pulpit to community, from local streets to international mission fields, Rev. Wil- lie C. Barnes has already proven he is ready for this next step. This election is not just about choosing a leader. It is about choosing a vision for unity, empowerment, and financial strength that will bless churches today and generations to come.
