The LGC AXIO PT HYGIENE Scheme has been developed for laboratories that perform microbial testing of environmental monitoring samples. Environmental monitoring of workplaces such as laboratories, clean rooms, factory production lines and offices helps ensure that these environments are free from harmful microorganisms, and that cleaning practices are effective. Samples may take the form of swabs, sponges or contact plates that test the presence of microorganisms on surfaces, whilst filters or settle plates are used to test for microorganisms in air. The HYGIENE scheme offers a comprehensive range of test materials and analytes, including total microbial counts and pathogens, as well as yeast and mould.
