breeding and selecting the right cattle. Our goal is to continue to select cattle this way, allowing our customers to thrive for another 60+ years, and pass it from generation to generation. On Saturday, November 22nd, we will be offering you the opportunity to add generations of our selection to your breeding program. We will be offering all the 2020 model Varsity cows, along with an outstanding selection of younger cows, Pathfinders, Elite donor cows, and a stellar set of bred heifers. There will be thirteen different cow families represented in this offering, and we think you will find plenty of females that would be great additions to your breeding program. The Age Advantage Bulls being offered in this sale are an opportunity to get at the heart of the Motherlode® project at Jorgensen Land & Cattle. These bulls are out of the Elite Donor Dams of the MotherLode® project and sired by legends of the Angus Breed. Sires like “Band 174”, “Emulous Extra of Ideal”, “Extra 2207”, “7075”, and others will be represented in this group of bulls. Bulls were developed with longevity and fertility in mind, making a set of bulls that will be around a long time in your operation and sire females that will be there just as long. It has been an honor for us to provide top-of-the-line Angus genetics for the last 60+ years. This is a people business, and the team at Jorgensen’s is dependent on good people, good customers, and good relationships. We pride ourselves in the good people that are behind our cattle, and we are grateful for the wonderful and growing team here at Jorgensen Land & Cattle. Our relationships with our employees, cooperators, and customers will continue to be top priority. The idea is simple, “Treat people the way you want to be treated”. We invite you to join us in Ideal ahead of the sale to view the cattle and visit with us about the program. We would love to show you why we are called “The Source”. The videos of sale cattle are available on DVAuction.com and the sale will be live for online bidding on that platform. We also invite you to please join us Friday night for dinner and fellowship at the Lazy J Sporting Club. Our toll-free number is 800-548-2855. Please give our team a call, we would love to visit with you about the Jorgensen Program and the sale offering. You can also reach out to any of the team or sale staff listed in this book for information or sale day assistance. Thank you for your interest in the MotherLode® and in our breeding program. We look forward to seeing you in Ideal. The Jorgensen Family
Dear Cattlemen and Cattlewomen, On behalf of the entire Jorgensen Family, we welcome you to the 4th Edition of the MotherLode® Angus Female and Bull Sale, Saturday, November 22nd, 2025. We’re excited to present this year’s sale on a new date — featuring a powerful new edition of Age-Advantaged Bulls (18-months old), all ET’s from the heart of the MotherLode® project. This sale will cap off Cattleman’s Week at Jorgensen Land & Cattle with two days of pheasant hunting and fellowship with cattlemen and cattlewomen from across the country at the Lazy J Sporting Club. Please join us Friday night (11/21) for a pre-sale gathering, even if you do not join us for the hunt. The MotherLode® project is built on the mindset that great cows make bulls that make great cows. The MotherLode® reflects our decades-long passion for great cows and that those sound, functional, productive cows that breed back every year are the foundation of profitable cow-calf operations across America. This breed needs greater focus on making that type of cow and making them with great regularity; we aim to be The Source for those genetics. If you are new to the Angus Breed or just haven’t visited the Jorgensen cow herd for a while, we are excited for you to come take a look at our cow herd. You will find a cow herd steeped in history, with 60+ years of performance testing, breeding and balanced trait selection for Reproduction, Growth to Yearling, Carcass Merit, and Feed Efficiency. Take note of how pedigrees are put together, stacking great cows together, generation after generation. You will find many cows in this offering with eight (8) or more consecutive generations of maternal ancestors that have earned Progeny ratios for WW or YW equal to 100 or higher. Those years of ancestors reflect the years of

Comments from the sale manager:
Dear Cattlemen, Plan now to be on hand for a first-ever event in the history of the Jorgensen performance program with this elite female and bull combination sale offering to be held Saturday, November 22, 2025. The cattle will be displayed at the ranch headquarters and the sale will take place at the comfortable Lazy J Sporting Club located nearby. More than 100 elite females sell representing proven and young donors as well as bred cows and heifers along with an elite set of strong aged bulls produced in the embryo program. This sensational offering truly represents the Jorgensen philosophy of superior cows from generations of maternal production data. From pioneers to the world’s number one bull source, Jorgensen Land & Cattle features a time-tested cow herd backed by many consecutive generations of performance breeding and selection. The Motherlode® project is a concentrated embryo donor program designed to catapult genetic progress of the Jorgensen herd by focusing on the most elite females and magnifying their influence. The vast majority of this sale offering are deeply connected to that mission, along with the entire 2020 model varsity cow herd. The Jorgensen family operation has a heritage that stems from the original homestead of 1909, and they have gone to become an American success story as innovators through Ideal Beef Systems with multi-generational forward thinking in both their Angus and farming enterprises. Additional information from the Ideal Beef Evaluation harness the ability to achieve new opportunities in a time of unprecedented record demand for Angus cattle. In 2025, the Jorgensen program led the way with the record-breaking 53rd Annual Production Sale where 188 yearling bulls averaged $11,050 to gross $2,077,500. Certainly, this is an event you cannot afford to miss. Please don’t hesitate to call on us at American Angus Hall of Fame if we can be of assistance with your selection decisions. We are here to serve. Sincerely,

Data has a story to tell. Now it has a voice.
We incorporate AgBoost visualizations into each lot because, a picture can be quicker to interpret than a spreadsheet of numbers. Using GEPDs and percentile rankings from the Ideal Beef Evaluation (IBE), the AgBoost score displays each lot’s individual trait ranking for all the traits we currently measure in the IBE: BW: Birth Weight GEPD
SC: Scrotal Circumference GEPD MK: Milk GEPD FERT: Cow Fertility GEPD IMF: Intramuscular Fat GEPD REA: Ribeye Area GEPD RIB: Rib Fat GEPD TEND: Tenderness MVP
WW: Weaning Weight GEPD YW: Yearling Weight GEPD ADG: Average Daily Gain GEPD DMI: Dry Matter Intake FCR: Feed Conversion Rate GEPD DOC: Docility GEPD
HOW TO INTERPRET THE AGBOOST VISUALIZATION
TRAIT WIDTH (BLACK LINE): The width of each trait on the chart is an indicator of that trait’s heritability. The wider the portion, the more heritable a trait is. Traits are ordered in clockwise formation from most to least heritable. TRAIT HEIGHT (BLUE LINE): The higher a trait reaches from the
center, the better that traits score is. Close to the center is closer to 0, close to the outside edge is close to 10. All traits are on a 0-10 scale, 10 being the best. The large score in the center of the chart is the average of all ten trait scores on the AgBoost visualization. Learn more about AgBoost at www.ag-boost.com
