“ The Academy has allowed me to study with some of the best professors in the world, as well as given me a conservatory-like experience. I am privileged to study with one of the greatest, if not the greatest saxophone players in the world. This environment has made me feel at home, and I know that I am in a place where I belong.” —SHIRE (IAC 24, IAA 24–25), SAXOPHONE STUDENT “ Under the instruction of my instructor’s practice and performance techniques I have made great amounts of progress... this year I have received two solos. This will be my very first time having a solo as principal oboist, and learning the English horn. All of this was made possible due to the excellent teachers I have been honored to work with.” —LAUREN (IAA 23–25), OBOE STUDENT
