Centennial Park Pool What an incredible turnout at Centennial Park Pool! With 269 lap swimmers gliding through the water, 117 recreation swimmers enjoying a fun splash, and 79 energetic participants in water aerobics, the atmosphere is buzzing with activity. It’s especially heartwarming to see 12 brave and dedicated participants from Fire and EMS joining in, adding an extra layer of community spirit. A total of 111 Port Charlotte High School swimmers and 2 divers showcased their incredible talent and determination, proving their dedication to the sport. At the Tri-Counties swim meet, 62 swimmers from our area gave it their all, and we're especially proud to share that the Port Charlotte High School boys team came out on top, securing the Tri-Counties championship! To add to the excitement, the Sea Dragon Aquatic swimmers, with a team of 125 strong, continue to inspire with their commitment to excellence. It’s a shining example of hard work, team spirit, and the power of sportsmanship—all leading to an unforgettable week of accomplishments.
