Englewood Charlotte Public Library Spooky season is here but that isn't scaring away the patrons at the Englewood Charlotte Library! This week we had our preschool kiddos working hard on the letter "E" for "EEK!", a local storyteller giving us the creeps with spooky ghost stories, and two lovely attorneys that made the topic of Advanced Directives a little less frightening. In our lobby, we have a wonderful display by UF IFAS about Fall gardening in Florida and this weekend we also welcomed newcomers to our "Books and Board Games" program.
The library showed up this weekend at Charlotte County Pride on October 18 ! Bringing books and program flyers, the most common response that we heard from our patrons were “we’re so glad you’re here.” th Later in the week, we got spooky with a Haunted Object program on October 20 . With visiting Paranormal Investigators, th patrons were able to learn more about how the Paranormal works and how to detect a spirit attached to a doll. Punta Gorda Charlotte Library
